The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those requiring both emergent and elective surgeries. Our nurses provide the highest standards of professional care, working collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Educate patients and families on health management and post-operative care.Participate in ongoing education and maintain current knowledge in medical-surgical nursing.QualificationsCurrent, unencumbered Oregon RN license required.Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required.Experience in a medical-surgical unit is preferred.Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.Additional InformationThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled RN looking to make a difference in a supportive environment.
