IT Manufacturing Engineer (Infrastructure & DevOps)

Provide daily IT operational support to ensure business continuity and success identifying area of improvementAccoutabilities:Improve network architecture to support Operation Technology expansion and growthEstablish naming conventions for network, Wi-Fi, servers, etc.Collaborate in the definition of infrastructure standardsDesign Backup and Disaster Recovery plan for all Mfg. locationsSupport manufacturing operation providing high availability infrastructureProvide hands on desktop support to plant usersPerform proper firmware/software update on equipment in accordance with company and vendor requirementKey Metrics & Financial Targets:Successful optimization of datacenter layout and connectionsHelps identify potential bottlenecks and overutilized network segments.Analysis of current resource usage versus future needs.Support Tickets resolution times within OLA and SLA'sIncrease customers satisfaction.Own:Datacenter optimizationSystems health monitoringInfrastructure troubleshootingInfluence:Continuous improvement based on exposure to systems and processes; systems optimization.Veto:Decisions not controlled directly but with influence and approval by Architecture Team Lead and ManagerCritical Relationships:Network Team, Operation Technology Team, Security Operation Team, Desktop Support team, Business StakeholderSkills Needed To Be Successfull:5+ years of related work experienceKnowledge of storage, servers and Hypervisor (VMWare preferred)Knowledge of routing firewalls, routers, OOB and switching.Technical certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, AWS are encouragedAutomation & scripting skills,Understanding of manufacturing operations.Incident and Problem management, ITSM. AutomationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong troubleshooting and self-starterWhat You Will Learn In This Role:Design and optimization of IT Mfg.
