Job descriptionPADCOM Design & Construction Management Services LLC is seeking a Project Accountant II to support the finance and accounting team of a major Southern California community college district capital bond program.Responsibilities:Review and process Bond Program invoices and encumbrances per accounting proceduresIdentify and resolve discrepancies in invoice documentationEnsure invoice and encumbrance entries in PMIS (Proliance) are accurate with supporting documentationResolve integration issues between Proliance and Deltek CostpointEvaluate bond compliance on all payment requestsReconcile financial accounts and escrow bank statementsPrepare journal entries and debit/credit memosDevelop new reports supporting transparency into program expendituresCommunicate with construction and professional services vendors on invoice and payment mattersMinimum Qualifications:1+ year of experience in invoice processing or accounts payableAssociate's degree or college certificate (additional experience may substitute year for year)Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and WordAbility to perform historical trend analysis and create and analyze financial reportsStrong communication skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldConstruction or public agency accounting experienceProliance or Costpoint exposureAnticipated start: July 2026.
