Slot Tech

Slot Machine Technician Provide fast, friendly service, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines and assisting with jackpots/fills. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned). Provides consistently prompt, courteous service to guests in a professional manner. Maintains a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment at all times. Maintains constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered by Pioneer Crossing. Performs the repair and modification work on slot machines; repairs all aspects of mechanical and electro-mechanical slot machines. Submits suggestions to the Slot Dept. regarding improvements in operations and safety. Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with company, state, and federal policies and regulations; keeps paperwork confidential at all times. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language. Math Ability: High School level math. Adding, subtracting. Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Ability to work successfully with the public and fellow employees. Reasoning Ability: Knowledge of slot repair operations. Advanced electronic knowledge. Ability to multi-task. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Inform the Manager on Duty of any and all suspicious activity immediately. Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of Oasis is a plus. Certificates and Licenses: Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods; must be able to reach, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and lift occasionally; must be able to move about the casino and operational areas. Must have manual dexterity, ability to feel, use fingers, hands, operate tools.
