Driver

VA Solution LLC is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to immediately fill Driver positions (delivering packages in DC area). Having driving experience with box trucks will be a great advantage. Responsibilities: Our Delivery Associates drive a van to drop off packages to customers within their community. You can plan on working about 3-5 days a week, a typical working day being 8-10 hours All Shifts start at 9:55 AM. Our drivers follow strict safety standards on and off the road. You'll interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner. You'll use handheld technology to manage the delivery process. Delivery Associates / Drivers must meet the following requirements: - be at least 21 years old; - have a valid driver's license within the state of employment -a big plus to have a DOT certification or medical card and be able to get certified as a DOT driver as this is a required by our company - be able to operate and navigate a delivery step van and cargo van; - be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation; - consent to a drug screening; - have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers. - authorized to work in United States VA SOLUTION LLC is providing opportunity to grow leaders and take pride in being committed to deliver packages safely and in time by leveraging technologies and strong work ethic.
