With over 40 years in business and 150+ employees, we are one of the largest printers in the Pacific Northwest.We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our production equipment running efficiently and safely. Position OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment across our facility—including printing presses, bindery, and mailing machines. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth, continuous operations. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform emergency and scheduled repairs on production equipmentConduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifeDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesRepair or replace defective parts and test equipment performanceRead and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work ordersFabricate parts as needed to support repairs and improvementsUse hand and power tools to install, maintain, and repair equipmentCollaborate with maintenance team, machine operators, and production managersAssist with equipment startup, operation, and troubleshootingEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing or production environment requiredStrong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issuesExperience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical documents and schematicsMust follow all safety procedures at all timesBasic English communication skillsAbility to lift:Up to 25 lbs regularlyUp to 50 lbs frequently100+ lbs occasionallyAt least 2 years of experience leading projects, people, or vendors/service providers Why Join Signature Graphics?Established, stable company with long-term growthHands-on work with a wide range of industrial equipmentCollaborative team environmentOpportunity to expand skills across multiple maintenance disciplinesCompany that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork Apply TodayIf you're a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to have you on our team!
