Anticipated opening for the 2026-2027 school year, contingent on final staffing needs Job Title: Elementary Teacher (Primary, Gr. K-2)Reports to: Campus PrincipalLocation: In-Person, CASLV Eastgate - Henderson, NVPosition Type: Full-Time, 10-Month (School Year)Position Summary:The Elementary Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating a safe, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment for students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate is committed to student success, equity, and continuous improvement, and is aligned with CASLV's mission to foster academic excellence and character development.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement standards-based lesson plans aligned with Nevada Academic Content Standards and CASLV curriculum.Create a classroom culture that supports academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and student ownership of learning.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including English language learners, students with IEPs/504s, and gifted learners.Maintain high expectations for student behavior and academic performance through proactive classroom management.Use data from formative and summative assessments to drive instruction and monitor student progress.Collaborate with grade-level and school-wide teams to support student achievement and professional growth.Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and communication with families.Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and classroom updates.Participate in school-wide events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development.Uphold the values, mission, and policies of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas. Qualifications:RequiredBachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.Valid Nevada teaching license or eligibility to obtain one with an elementary endorsement.Understanding of child development, instructional best practices, and content standards.PreferredTwo or more years of successful K-5 teaching experience.Experience in a charter or urban school setting.Familiarity with data-driven instruction, PBIS, and SEL frameworks.Bilingual or multilingual proficiency (especially in Spanish, Turkish, or Tagalog).
