Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Construction Worker with at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. This position requires hands-on experience with various construction tasks, including excavation, framing, plumbing and electrical, paver and concrete work. You will also ensure the smooth operation and cleanliness of pools for residential or commercial clients. Your role is essential in maintaining a safe and enjoyable swimming environment. From routine maintenance to equipment repairs, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things pool-related. Responsibilities: - Assist in the construction of residential and commercial swimming pools. - Perform excavation, grading, and site preparation. - Install plumbing and electrical systems as required for pool construction. - Assist in the installation of pool structures, including framing and concrete work. - Keep pools clean and safe through regular skimming, vacuuming, and chemical treatment to maintain optimal water quality. - Conduct thorough inspections of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters. Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs or replacements to keep systems running smoothly. - Monitor and adjust chemical levels in pool water to ensure proper pH balance and sanitation, keeping detailed records of measurements and treatments. - Interact with clients professionally, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing expert advice on pool maintenance and care. - Respond promptly to service calls, especially in emergencies such as equipment failures or water quality issues. Take swift action to resolve problems and prevent further damage. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and client interactions. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices. - Work with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. - Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with experience in pool construction preferred. - Proficient in using construction tools and equipment. - Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. - Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
