Technician

*Overview* We are seeking a experanced Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electronics and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, maintaining, and fabricating installations of marine electronics, ensuring optimal performance in various applications. The Technician will also be responsible for supervising projects and collaborating with other team members. *Responsibilities* * Operate and maintain various marine electronics systems. * Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively. * Fabricate components as needed for repairs or upgrades. * Oversee projects, providing supervision and guidance to junior technicians. * Provide clear communication with team members to enhance operational efficiency. *Requirements* * Strong knowledge of electronics systems. * Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. * Familiarity with computer skills. * Previous experience in supervising projects or teams is preferred. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting is necessary. * Must have a vailed Drivers License , Clean Driven Record and TWIC Card. * Job requires daily travel around the Gulf Coast . * International Travel is required must obtain a vailed Pass Port * FCC General Radio Operator & GMDSS Radio Maintainer's License must be obtained to keep employement. * Safety training to meet the offshore standards will also be obtained when employed.
