Executive Assistant To Chief Investment OfficerOur client, a hedge fund in Midtown West, is seeking a highly strategic executive assistant to support the chief investment officer in a critical, high-impact role. This is not a traditional executive assistant seat, but rather a position for someone who operates as a true extension of the executive, bringing structure, judgment, and thoughtful prioritization to a complex and fast-moving environment.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience supporting a chief investment officer or similarly senior investment executive within a hedge fund environment, and will bring exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a highly anticipatory approach to support. This is a role for an independent thinker and strong problem solver who is comfortable operating with autonomy, adding value without needing significant direction, and navigating an environment with ever-changing calendars and shifting priorities. The role requires someone comfortable managing up, exercising sound judgment in nuanced situations, and bringing clarity, structure, and strong execution in a fast-moving and often fluid environment.Responsibilities:Provide strategic, high-level support to the chief investment officerOwn and manage a highly complex, ever-changing calendarCoordinate complex domestic and international business travelAnticipate needs and bring structure and continuity to the executive's day-to-day operationsServe as a true gatekeeper and help manage competing demandsTrack follow-ups and drive accountability across prioritiesPrepare materials and support for meetings and presentationsManage expenses and reportingSupport light personal logistics as neededAssist with special projects and maintain strict confidentialityRequirements:10+ years of experience supporting a chief investment officer or senior investment executive within a hedge fund requiredExceptional attention to detail and strong execution skillsIndependent thinker and strong problem solverAbility to operate proactively and add value with limited directionHighly anticipatory, with strong follow-through and excellent judgmentExceptional ability to manage up and operate effectively in ambiguityLow ego, calm under pressure, and collaborativeHedge fund experience requiredStable tenure preferredSalary: $200-225K base + generous bonus + great benefits + 401(K) and profit sharing + 25 days PTO + team lunch FridaysHours: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM + 24/7 mentality
