Physical Therapist (Part-Time Hemophilia Clinic)A hospital-based Hemophilia Clinic in Flint, Michigan is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide specialized musculoskeletal assessment and treatment for patients with bleeding disorders. This is a consistent, low-hour commitment role ideal for a PT looking to supplement their current schedule with meaningful specialty work.The Physical Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary hemophilia care team to support patient mobility, joint health, injury prevention, and rehabilitation related to hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations for patients with hemophilia and related bleeding disordersAssess joint health, range of motion, strength, gait, and functional mobilityDevelop individualized treatment and home exercise programsProvide education on joint protection, injury prevention, and safe activity participationDocument patient findings and treatment plans in accordance with clinic and regulatory standardsCollaborate with hematologists, nurses, and social workers as part of the multidisciplinary care teamProvide recommendations for orthotics, assistive devices, or community resources as neededSchedule Commitment4 hours per monthThird Thursday of each monthMorning hours (consistent schedule)Ongoing, predictable supplemental workQualificationsLicensed Physical Therapist in the State of MichiganGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)Experience in orthopedic or outpatient rehabilitation settingsStrong clinical assessment and documentation skillsExperience working with hemophilia or bleeding disordersFamiliarity with chronic joint disease managementExperience in interdisciplinary clinic environmentsIdeal CandidateSeeking consistent, minimal-hour supplemental workComfortable working independently within a collaborative medical teamInterested in specialty care and long-term patient relationshipsStrong patient education and communication skillsIdeal for clinicians balancing other employment or private practice
