Chemical Laboratory Technician

Shift: D-Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM + alternating Thursdays 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Chemical Analysis Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with engineers to conduct experiments, perform quality testing, and make chemical adjustments related to wafer manufacturing processes. You'll also play a key role in developing and refining methods and procedures to optimize our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled chemical analysis of plating baths. Adjust chemical levels in plating baths to maintain proper concentrations. Monitor real-time data (pH, flow, temperature, etc.) from process tools using SCADA software and take corrective actions when necessary. Maintain and calibrate inline chemical measurement and dosing systems. Ensure the upkeep of laboratory chemical analysis equipment. Prepare calibration standards for analytical equipment. Keep detailed records in lab systems and logs. Collaborate with engineers and specialists to standardize best practices across shifts. Required Skills: Strong familiarity with chemical handling safety and lab safety protocols. Comfortable working in lab, cleanroom, and factory settings. Ability to independently perform routine chemical analysis, adjustments, and equipment maintenance. Keen attention to detail when reviewing analysis data to ensure quality results. Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience: Background in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or chemical process control. Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques such as (U)HPLC-UV, (U)HPLC-CAD, (U)HPLC-ECD, IC-CD, IC-UV, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and Potentiometric titration. Experience in wafer manufacturing or related systems. Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience. Familiarity with Lab Information Management System (LIMS) software.
