Provide instruction in Language Arts using co-teaching model for 5th-6th grade students2. Provides written information as needed for the development of IEPs and for preparation of an IEP review.3. Works positively/cooperatively with co-workers through information sharing and consultation to promote effective education of students.4. Accurately assesses the needs of students and implements behavior management strategies to respond to these needs.5. Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications: 1. Masters or Bachelor's degree in Special Education2. Must be flexible in the ability to teach multiple grade levels as student populations change3. Ability to teach a classroom of students within all basic instructional areas4. Ability to work with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties
