Director of Revenue Management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Predict future demand and proactively set controls for managing demand and maximizing revenues in all revenue generating department.
Proactively study future bookings from representation and imposes appropriate controls to maximize revenues, and ensure that once configured, reservations maintains all systems with accurate representation of hotels.
Identify future periods where packages might assist in stimulating demand or should be restricted, or where promotions are warranted.
Provide input into market perception based on shifting trends on future demand.
Chair, lead and prepare necessary reports for the weekly Revenue Meeting. This includes preparing a Resort-wide revenue forecast.
Utilize IDeaS, Hoteligence, and all other tools available to analyze data patterns to maximize revenue and profitability.
Manage all channels including PMS, Internet, GDS, and OTA’s
Complete 30-60-90 Forecast.
Report daily performance by hotel by market segment.
Work with CFO, Director of Sales, and other Manager’s to complete the annual revenue budget.
Participate in advertising campaign by ensuring that all information is in the reservations systems, agree possible impact on demand with marketing before campaign is finalized, and ensures room inventory controls are appropriate prior to launch.
Ensure that Nemacolin’s brand image is integrated into revenue management decisions in all areas of the resort.
Overall responsible for accurate room-night and revenue forecasting, with input from Sales for Group forecasts.
Develop strategy to maximize revenue and profitability in all areas of the resort.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Hospitality or related field.
Minimum Four (4) years Revenue Management Experience.
Forbes 4 or 5 star hotel/resort experience preferred.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desire to participate as part of a team.
Complete knowledge of hotel rooms and meeting related services available to guests.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers exercising patience, tact and diplomacy.
Must possess excellent computational ability.
Must possess excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Comprehension of the reservation sales process.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
