Overview
The Field Engineer will be responsible for onsite testing, troubleshooting, and validating the performance of our electronics products in the field. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the engineer working closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our products with larger systems.
Key Responsibilities
•Onsite Testing: Travel to various client sites to conduct thorough testing of our electronics products, ensuring they meet performance standards and function correctly within larger systems.
•Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with products during field testing, including hardware, software, and system integration challenges.
•Punch List Management: Maintain a detailed punch list of tasks, issues, and client requests during field operations. Ensure all items are addressed and signed off by relevant stakeholders.
•Client Interaction: Serve as the primary onsite contact for clients, providing technical support, gathering feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction.
•Documentation: Create detailed reports on testing results, troubleshooting efforts, and any modifications made during field operations.
•Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development teams to relay field data and suggest improvements or adjustments to the products.
•Compliance and Safety: Ensure all field operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
•Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field engineering, preferably within the electronics or consumer technology industries.
•Technical Skills:
-Strong understanding of electronics systems and components, particularly those used in AR/VR environments.
-Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
-Experience with testing equipment and tools.
•Soft Skills:
-Excellent problem-solving abilities.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
•Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to client sites across the country.
•Certifications: Relevant certifications in electronics or field engineering are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
