Site Director - BiologicalsFully On-Site in San Angelo, TexasJob DescriptionThe Site Director is responsible for providing overall leadership, operational excellence, and strategic direction for the manufacturing site. This role ensures the safe, compliant, cost-effective, and efficient production of biological products, aligning with USDA regulatory standards, corporate strategy, and financial targets.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the manufacturing site to achieve operational excellence.Ensure compliance with USDA regulatory standards.Drive cost-effective production processes while maintaining high-quality standards.Align production activities with corporate strategy and financial targets.Oversee the development and implementation of operational management programs.Manage facilities maintenance and ensure safe operations.Lead and mentor the team to foster a culture of leadership and communication.Handle program management and operational management tasks effectively.Conduct and manage regulatory inspections and uphold quality standards.Manage P&L with a proven track record in vaccine, biologics, or sterile manufacturing operations.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.15+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing.7+ years in leadership roles with operational experience in sterile biologics manufacturing.Experience with regulatory inspections and quality standards.Demonstrated P&L management track record in vaccine, biologics, or sterile manufacturing operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred.Strong foundation in biologics.Deep understanding of biological quality systems and how to build them.Minimum 5 years of experience in biologics; ideal range 5–10 years.Some level of people or functional leadership experience.Experience in auditing, quality assurance, project management, quality control, clinical document management, and quality systems.Work EnvironmentThis position is fully on-site in San Angelo, Texas.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Houston, TX.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.medical dental vision 401Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Houston,TX.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on May 14, 2026.Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Actalent, Diversity And Inclusion Are a Bridge Towards The Equity And Success Of Our People.
