In this high-visibility role, you will interface directly with Government leadership, coordinate daily task assignments for an elite engineering team, and spearhead the design, implementation, and security optimization of enterprise naval information systems.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Manage contractor taskings within the SWAN NOC and collaborate closely with the Government Lead to ensure mission alignment.Architecture & Engineering: Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, storage arrays, and high-availability network components.Security & Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data, ensuring all infrastructure complies with strict DoD security standards.Integration & Scalability: Partner with software development teams to seamlessly integrate new applications while engineering for long-term scalability and performance.Operations & Documentation: Monitor system health, resolve complex technical bottlenecks, and maintain precise technical specification and infrastructure design documentation.Qualifications & RequirementsClearance: Active Secret security clearance is required.Certification: Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP).Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline OR 10+ years of progressive, senior-level systems engineering experience.Core Competencies:Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture & Network DesignCapacity Management, Storage Engineering & Scalability PlanningEnterprise Application Integration (EAI) & Systems AnalysisNetwork/Data Security & Technical Documentation DesignTECHEAD’s mission is to make our on-site associates successful by placing them in the right environment so they can grow and prosper.
