Now Hiring: Insurance Defense & Civil Litigation ParalegalWe are a busy, well-established insurance defense firm with a strong pipeline of work and a long-term growth plan. We are expanding and looking for a paralegal who wants to build a career here, not just fill a seat.The RoleYou will support a steady caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters, working closely with attorneys to keep cases moving efficiently from intake through resolution. This role offers real opportunities to deepen litigation skills, take ownership of key case tasks, and grow into a senior paralegal position.What You’ll DoProvide day-to-day litigation support on insurance defense and civil litigation filesDraft and format legal documents (pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, notices) for attorney reviewManage deadlines and calendars; track service, responses, and court-imposed timelinesAssist with discovery: organize productions, summarize records, prepare exhibit binders, and coordinate ESI as neededCoordinate depositions (scheduling, notices, subpoenas, court reporters, transcripts) and assist with deposition/hearing preparationPrepare mediation and hearing binders; help compile supporting materials and exhibitsMaintain case files (electronic and paper), update matter notes, and ensure accurate document managementCommunicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, experts and vendors as directed Support and Team EnvironmentYou’ll work alongside experienced attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and other staff in a collaborative environment that values organization, follow-through, and high-quality work product. Experience LevelWe are especially interested in candidates with 3+ years of civil litigation / insurance defense paralegal experience, but motivated applicants with strong litigation support experience are welcome to apply.RequirementsParalegal experience in civil litigation (insurance defense a plus)Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, and deadline managementExcellent writing, proofreading, and formatting skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort working in document management systemsAbility to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detailArizona paralegal certification/education is a plus (as applicable), but not required if you have strong relevant experienceLocation and Work ArrangementThis role is Arizona-based.
