Are you looking to take your career to the next level? Our Private practice office is looking for an experienced and dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing staff. The individual in this role would be responsible for delivering a consistent and polished positive patient experience, building relationships, and making patients comfortable from the moment they enter our center. Candidates should possess superior customer service skills, be naturally friendly and exhibit attention to detail.
A typical day includes team huddles, greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting in taking payments, filling the schedule to goal, confirming appointments, presenting treatment plans and following up with patients. Pay is based on experience.
Patient Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
· Functions as our practice ambassador and steward a positive message while building guest relations.
· Ensures our patients receive exceptional experience from their first contact.
· Anticipates patient’s needs, responds promptly and acknowledges all patients as they enter the office.
· Prepare any necessary forms and helps patients complete such forms.
· Set up and guide the patient to the appropriate room.
· Brief the patient on the appointment.
· Turnover the room after the patient and manage patient flow as needed.
· Understand and eloquently present our scope of services to clients.
· Maintain complete knowledge of all practice services, surgeries, amenities, offers and doctor’s credentials.
· Educate patients on additional practice offerings and specials.
· Assist with marketing and social media platforms.
· Treatment Presentation Skills
· Plastic Surgery Experience is a required.
· Accurately relay messages in a timely fashion between patient and Medical Assistant or Surgeon.
Patient Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications
· Must be familiar with the EHR medical charting system PatientNow.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to operate as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.41 - $19.46 per hour
