Candidates with specific exposure to the areas of personal injury law which include car accident and slip and fall claims are preferred.We're looking for a motivated and organized lawyer with strong written and verbal communication skills who is motivated to take on responsibilities and challenges. Benefits include Paid Time Off, Company Holidays, Life Insurance, 401k with a lucrative employer match, Health, Dental and VisionResponsibilities:Each attorney leads a team of file openers and case managers and are encourage to manage their team through the claims opening process which includes:Assessing Liability through examinations of the police reportIdentifying WitnessesCommunicating with the client as to how the accident occurredVerifying medical treatment (i.e. hospital care, chiropractic, orthopedic, etc.)Assisting in the resolution of Property Damage to TT vehiclesConducting EUO or coordinating IME appointmentsReviewing Demands prior to submission to the insurance carrierNegotiating SettlementsAttending Pre-suit MediationsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bilingual Spanish Preferred2-5 years handling personal injury litigation mattersActive & good standing with FL State BarExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMotivated personalityAdmitted to the Florida Bar or another state bar2+ years of legal experienceDeadline and detail-orientedHigh standards
