Overview In this role you will contribute to end-to-end software projects by translating architecture into deployable solutions, modernizing test practices, and delivering robust applications. You will work within a global delivery environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-enabled, Java-based solutions and rigorous test strategies. The position emphasizes Agile/Lean methods, automation, and strong stakeholder communication to drive quality and timely delivery. This is a hands-on role with impact on testing, deployment, and process improvements in a retail domain context. ResponsibilitiesCreate requirement specifications aligned with architecture and process detailingDevelop, configure, evaluate solutions, validate and deploy softwareCapture and map business requirements from internal/external stakeholdersSupport full software development lifecycle including testingDesign and modify test frameworks using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.Contribute to test strategy, plan, and project plan (Microsoft Project)Provide testing schedules, estimates, and resource planningIdentify test environments and data requirements and manage risks/issues in project logsOperate in a global delivery and possibly travel-driven consulting environmentApply Agile/Lean, CD/CI practices and write tests for UI and API levelsUtilize AWS cloud technologies in development and testing activitiesWork with RDBMS, SQL, and stored procedures in data handlingEngage in project management activities within a consulting setting Key requirements4+ years of experience across requirement gathering, development/configuration, and software testing life cycleStrong programming skills in core JavaExperience with web technologies (J2EE, MVC, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery, REST/SOAP, XML, CSS, JSON)Demonstrated AWS cloud experienceExperience with test frameworks and automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, UFT/QTP, etc.)Knowledge of agile/lean practices, and CI/CDExperience with UI and API level testingRDBMS/SQL and stored procedures knowledgeExperience in retail domainWillingness to travel in a global delivery environmentBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or 3 years progressively in lieu of education)Ability to work in a management consulting setting with clear communication and analytical skillsAnalytical thinkingStrong communicationPlanning and coordinationJava (core)J2EEMVC
