Job Description Senior Occupational Health Nurse LeadWhere You Fit InYou will be part of the Americas Health team, responsible for delivering the health strategy to a defined employee population and/or line of business. This includes ensuring compliance with local legislation and maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.In this role, you will provide occupational health nursing expertise and professional leadership for client and Chemicals Park Norco and US East Lubricants/Grease plants (Brockville, Fowlerville, River Rouge). You will leverage client core competencies in health expertise, science, collaboration, and business intimacy.What s the Role?Lead and manage occupational health services for client and Chemicals Park Norco and US East Lubricants/Grease plants (Brockville, Fowlerville, River Rouge) with care and compassion, following established protocolsPlan, develop, and support execution of health promotion and performance activities in US East in collaboration with regional health expertsApply client protocols and processes (including Disability Management) to deliver agreed KPIs independently, adapting approaches to local or individual needsAdvise internal stakeholders (employees, HR, and business leaders) on occupational health matters, including ergonomics and disability managementMaintain accurate occupational health nursing records and documentationProvide clinical treatment for eligible employees with injuries or illnessesEscalate and coordinate frontline health issues with asset specialists and central teams to ensure standardized solutionsCoach, supervise, and support less experienced colleaguesPromote client programs to improve physical, mental, and social wellbeing across the workforceLeverage existing expertise from asset class specialists when addressing business needs and requestsWhat We Need From YouProfessional SkillsNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant qualificationCurrent license to practice in the USASignificant experience in occupational health with proven delivery of health outcomes and strong customer experienceProficiency with electronic medical records and IT systemsCommitment to continuous learning and professional developmentAbility to perform DOT exams and Fitness for Work (Emergency Response Team) assessmentsLeadership SkillsDemonstrates a learning mindset and promotes inclusivity and psychological safetyStrong collaboration skills with the ability to work across boundaries and maximize value for the organizationAbility to coach and develop less experienced colleaguesPrioritizes effectively and challenges low-value work where appropriateContinuously seeks opportunities to learn and apply best practicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze, report, and interpret health data to measure service effectivenessFlexible WorkingCompany is committed to enabling people to reach their full potential while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
