Job SummaryThe Business, Marketing, and Personal Finance Teacher will design and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to help high school students develop essential business knowledge, financial literacy, and career readiness skills. The ideal candidate will foster critical thinking, creativity, and practical problem-solving through real-world applications, projects, and experiential learning opportunities. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.Minimum QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Business Education, Marketing Education, Finance, or related fieldExperienceTwo or more years of upper school teaching experience and/or preparation in Biblically-centered academic instruction preferredExperience implementing curriculumBackground in business or industry experienceCertifications/LicensesA valid state teaching license/certification in Business or Career & Technical Education (CTE)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and tactfully communicate with leadership, peers, faculty, students, parents, volunteers and the external communityStrong understanding of financial literacy, marketing principles, and business managementTechnologiesMust be skilled at current educational technology and its applications within the school, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointFamilar with Canvas and instructional technologiesPhysical CapabilitiesAble to stand and walk for a majority of the day;
