Cybersecurity Data Visualization SpecialistContracted role to create insightful and interactive dashboards and reports for data-driven decisions in Vulnerability Management cyber security domain. Collaboration with cybersecurity experts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to transform raw data into compelling visualizations. Proficiency in Tableau, Google Looker, Power BI and other visualization tools, along with strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using various visualization tools. Writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform data for reporting and analysis. Collaborating with cybersecurity experts and data engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into visualization solutions. Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reporting and visualization outputs. Optimizing dashboard performance and ensuring scalability to handle large data sets. Providing guidance and best practices on dashboard design, data visualization, and user experience. Participation in meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate dashboards, and address feedback. Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and cybersecurity. Leading investigation and resolution efforts when data issues are identified. Ability to work in an Agile work environment and manage and prioritize tasks. Documenting processes and procedures for producing metrics. Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in dashboard development and data visualization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Experience in cybersecurity, understanding of Cyber Security data tools and analysis methodologies, and certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, CISM, CISSP, CRISC and / or CISA are desirable. Understanding of security control frameworks such as NIST, CIS controls, COBIT, ISO is a plus.
