Open Rank - Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist
The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a tenure‑eligible or tenured faculty position for its Memory Disorder Program. The selected candidate will devote the majority of effort to clinical responsibilities in the cognitive and behavioral neurological clinic, anti‑amyloid therapy program, memory and aging care clinic, and related teaching activities. The candidate will also contribute to and expand an active clinical trials research program in dementia, and will establish and sustain an extramurally funded independent research program.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care in the cognitive and behavioral neurological clinic, anti‑amyloid therapy program, memory and aging care clinic, and related teaching activities.
Develop and expand an active clinical trials research program in dementia.
Establish and sustain an extramurally funded independent research program.
Qualifications
MD, MD/PhD, DO, or other equivalent terminal degree.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology at the time of hire.
Specialized fellowship training in a related field is strongly preferred.
Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
