Software Engineer (.NET Core / AWS Microservices)Hybrid role in Austin, TX$95,000 – $100,000 annually (Contract-to-Hire)Contract: 6-month contract to hire with potential to extendWe are seeking a Software Engineer to join an engineering team responsible for building and maintaining highly transactional, cloud-based microservices within a modern payment processing environment. This role focuses on developing scalable backend services using .NET Core within AWS infrastructure.The ideal candidate is a motivated engineer who thrives in fast‐paced, agile environments and enjoys building reliable, high-performance systems. This position will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native services that support secure payment and financial transaction platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain cloud-based microservices using .NET CoreBuild highly scalable and transactional backend services within AWS environmentsWrite, test, and troubleshoot application code to ensure reliability and performanceCollaborate with engineering teams to design and implement system enhancementsParticipate in system architecture discussions and technical solution designTroubleshoot application and system issues across distributed environmentsDevelop integrations and services that interact with multiple applications and systemsContribute to testing, debugging, and deployment of application updatesDocument technical designs, solutions, and processesAssist with system maintenance, monitoring, and production supportRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of software development experienceMinimum 2 years of programming experience within financial services or a related industryExperience with .NET CoreExperience building cloud-native applicationsExperience with AWSExperience with DockerExperience with KubernetesExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesStrong troubleshooting and debugging skillsExperience using Git version controlPreferred QualificationsExperience within the payments domainExperience with C/C++Experience with Jenkins or CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Web FormsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
