Program Coordinator
Role DescriptionAs a Program Coordinator for Community Impact, you will be responsible for supporting the global infrastructure that supports 90,000 employees in their philanthropic efforts, ensuring our give-back activities are both impactful and efficient. In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide initiatives that integrate Cisco's purpose with measurable performance goals. Your day-to-day impact will include:Help build a best-in-class Community Impact Program and experience for employeesDrive global community impact engagement by providing support to employees, Community Impact Champions, Inclusive Communities (ERGs), and business units through the Community Impact Portal (Cisco's Benevity platform), facilitating seamless volunteer management, fundraising, and donation matchingReview and approve/decline employees' external donation match requestsReview and approve/decline employees' match eligible volunteer hoursReview and approve/decline employee created volunteer opportunitiesRespond to employee inquiries about the Matching Gifts Program and the Community Impact PortalCollaborate with the broader Community Impact Team to provide general Community Impact programmatic administrative tasksSupport relevant global community focused teams to support their use of the Community Impact PortalDemonstrate a commitment to supporting fellow team members to ensure a cohesive and high-performing work environment.Qualifications1.5+ years' work experience in corporate social impact, corporate social responsibility, or ESG, spaces1.5+ years' experience managing Benevity's Spark platform, specifically reviewing employee match requests, employee volunteer time, and employee volunteer opportunitiesBachelor's degree in Communications, minor in Marketing1 year experience building Airtable Bases and Forms, managing SharePoint Folders and Sites, scheduling Webex meetings and participating in Webex SpacesRequirementsMaster's degree in Digital Marketing1+ years of work experience with strong preference toward experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility, or ESG, spacesStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Natural communicator and collaborator, adept at building rapportProven dedication to community engagement through active volunteerism, or professional experience within the nonprofit sectorAdaptable and comfortable in an ever-changing environment, able to shift and redirect efforts and focus as requiredProficiency in tools such as Airtable, SharePoint, and OutlookBenefitsMedical, dental and vision insurance401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contributionPaid parental leaveShort and long-term disability coverageBasic life insurance10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by CiscoNon-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employeesExempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafterAdditional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family membersOptional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
