The organization brings over 200 years of combined experience in formulation development, analytical services, manufacturing, clinical and regulatory affairs, consulting, and project management for pharmaceutical products.Role: The Accountant will own day‑to‑day operational accounting across multiple related entities. This full‑charge role (not clerical) requires strong follow‑through, a documentation‑first mindset, and proven intercompany accounting skills. Accounting must remain clean, defensible, and audit‑ready - especially as codaDOSE advances cGMP efforts.ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash application end‑to‑end.Prepare and maintain bank and credit card reconciliations with complete supporting documentation.Maintain inventory accounting: journal entries, reconciliations, cost support and schedules.Maintain fixed asset register: additions/disposals, capitalization, and depreciation schedules.Support month‑end close: prepare recurring entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare and maintain audit‑ready workpapers for key balance sheet accounts.Intercompany (Required)Record, reconcile, and settle intercompany charges and billings.Maintain intercompany schedules, resolve timing and other differences, and ensure ledgers tie across entities.Keep intercompany activity consistently coded and documented to support elimination‑ready reporting.Systems & ToolsDay‑to‑day use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred (not mandatory); strong ERP experience required.Familiarity with Project Operations Lite or similar project accounting is a plus.Proficiency with Excel and strong documentation/workpaper practices.Controls & DocumentationEnforce consistent processes suited to regulated, documentation‑driven environments.Deliver work that is audit‑ready, defensible, and easy to hand off.Required QualificationsExperience with proven full‑charge ownership.Demonstrated hands‑on experience across AP, AR, cash, inventory, and fixed assets.Direct intercompany accounting experience (recording, reconciling, and settling).Self‑directed, reliable, strong follow‑through, and able to work with minimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications (nice to have, not mandatory)Experience in pharma/biotech, manufacturing, cGMP or other regulated environments.Prior multi‑entity accounting in small/mid‑sized companies with lean teams.Experience preparing audit‑ready workpapers and supporting external audits.Additional DetailsLocation: Southeast US, North Georgia (Gainesville area)Type: full-time contractDuration: 9–12 monthsWork environment: hybrid, might require occasional visits to North Georgia (Gainesville area)Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in their country of residence without employer sponsorship
