Position Details
Location: Northern California, between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley and Sacramento
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day
Equipment/Resources: Access to state‑of‑the‑art equipment and comprehensive resources
Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities
Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
Monitor lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatments with the patient
Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary
Represent the practice at hospital committees, ensuring burden of attending meetings is reasonably distributed among physicians
Collaborate and manage APPs
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board‑certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
Proven experience in a primary care setting
Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
Compensation and Perks
Income guarantee: $330,000 (years 1‑2)
Sign‑on bonus up to $50,000
Relocation assistance for qualified candidates up to $20,000
