Job Description Department: Operations - WarehouseEmployment Type: Full Time, Non-ExemptReports To: Supervisor – Warehouse Operations; Director of OperationsSupervises: This position has no direct reportsMajor Working ConditionsThis is a seasonal position expected to run from May through early September, with dates subject to operational needs. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with regular interaction and coordination among RCCB Warehouse Operations personnel and automation contractors.Primary FunctionThe Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, assembling, staging, and loading customer orders in a safe and efficient manner using pallet jacks and forklifts. This position ensures proper product handling, load preparation, and documentation while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. The role also supports overall warehouse operations by performing additional duties as assigned.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment (if applicable).Mark load ticket for out of stock items.Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished.Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked.Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready.Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.Other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsRequires a High school diploma or general education development (GED) diplomaAt least 3 years' experience working in a warehouse distribution environmentMust have a valid NC Driver LicenseA good candidate must provide a good work history that demonstrates: leadership, dependability, integrity, attention to detail, self-motivated, excellent customer service and takes initiativeMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have the ability to obtain a forklift license and operate manual/power pallet jacks, floor scrubber, and other warehouse equipmentAbility to lift 40 pounds occasionallyAbility to lift 30 pounds over shoulders occasionallyAbility to lift CO2 cylinders occasionally (up to 55 pounds)Ability to push/pull product frequentlyAbility to walk/stand/sit at least 8 hours/dailyAbility to work in fast paced work environmentAbility to pass the company background and Motor Vehicle Report check and the company drug testing requirements
