Senior Services Therapy Supervisor (Exempt)

Responsible for assisting the Director with all aspects of departmental and program leadership and embraces a culture of customer-focused service and employee and patient safety. Administrative responsibilities include assisting the Director with annual work plan development, budget preparation, recruitment and retention of staff, performance reviews, and quality improvement programs, professional development programs for staff, and preparation and maintenance of regulatory requirements. Works collaboratively with acute care managers, Care Coordinators, and rehabilitation to assure patients are placed appropriately throughout the organization for care needs. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures. Education/License/Experience Requirements: Current state licensure and certification in professional area. Knowledge of benefits/values of therapy services. Current BLS certification. 5 years’ experience in physical therapy, speech-language pathology or occupational therapy preferred. 3 years’ experience in Acute or Senior Care preferred.
