Primoris Power Delivery services include engineering and design, installation and maintenance, material and equipment procurement, repair of electrical transmission, distribution, substation, wireless communication, and storm restoration. Experience ranges from small engineering and consulting projects to multi-million dollar turn-key distribution, substation, and transmission line programs. We are seeking Apprentice Linemen for underground power distribution projects. Candidates must have a CDL and prior underground construction experience. North Carolina residency is preferred or willingness to relocate. Benefits Industry competitive weekly hourly pay. Outstanding, paid on-the-job training. A Class A CDL is highly preferred, with endorsements. Able to successfully complete both an oral and written exam and a proficiency demonstration to determine position level. Able to provide own tools and gear. Rubber goods are assigned by the company to each employee. Able to work outside in various weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold temperatures. Must possess the physical dexterity to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and safely perform other physical work. Able to travel on a short-term basis. Able to demonstrate how to safely perform all tasks associated with high-voltage electrical lines. Able to perform basic maintenance such as routine inspections, modification, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities. All positions require participation in a federally compliant FMSCA drug and alcohol testing program, including pre-employment and ongoing random testing. Other duties as assigned.
