For an experienced controller ready to accelerate, it's a true career-defining seat.Compensation $150K–$200K base + 25% target bonusWhy this role is excitingHigh-growth story with 200%+ revenue growth in the past 2 yearsBroad ownership - run the full accounting and finance function with the autonomy to modernize processes, tooling, and controls as the business scales.Direct line to leadership - your work is seen and felt at the top.A genuinely warm, welcoming, people-first culture.A true career accelerator for an experienced controller ready for their next chapter.What you'll ownFull-cycle accounting & close - GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, project accounting; monthly/quarterly/annual close; financial statements & management reporting; ASC 606 revenue recognition; U.S. GAAP compliance.Government contract accounting & compliance - T&M, firm-fixed-price & cost-plus; FAR, CAS & DCAA; indirect cost rates, cost pools & rate submissions; incurred cost submissions & audit support; project financials, funding, profitability & backlog.Budgeting & forecasting - partner with the CFO on budgets, forecasts, indirect rate projections & profitability metrics.Build & scale - standardize processes, systems & internal controls; drive automation; support acquisitions, new contracts & expansion.Lead & develop - hire, mentor & grow the in-house accounting team; serve as a trusted advisor to leadership.What you bringBachelor's in Accounting • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant government contracting • Extensive Deltek Costpoint experience • Strong FAR/CAS/DCAA knowledge • Experience with indirect rates, incurred cost submissions & government audits • Strong U.S. GAAP & reporting • Advanced Excel • Excellent analytical & communication skills➕ Bonus pointsCPA • Cognos, Power BI, or similar reporting tools • Experience supporting rapid growth, acquisitions, or operational transformationBenefits401(k) with match • Medical, dental & vision • Short/long-term disability & life insurance • PTO + paid holidays • Hybrid flexibility • Professional developmentInterested or know someone great?
