Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator - I to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating sewing machines to produce textile products. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment construction and sewing, with a strong focus on precision and efficiency. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, as it demonstrates familiarity with manufacturing environments and safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate sewing machines to assemble garments according to specifications and quality standards Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform basic maintenance as needed Ensure accurate stitching, seam integrity, and overall product quality throughout the production process Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area Assist in material handling and inventory management within the warehouse environment Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations Skills Experience with garment construction and sewing techniques Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines Strong understanding of sewing processes, quality control, and safety procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory flow and safety protocols Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Job Type: Temp-to-hire Pay: $11.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
