Pipe Layer/Laborer

Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to assist with trenching, pipe placement, and site preparation
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to accurately lay out pipeline routes and specifications
Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipelines
Perform concrete finishing tasks related to pipeline supports or trench backfilling as needed
Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation
Assist with welding, concrete forming, and pipe fitting tasks to ensure secure installation of pipelines
Support excavation activities by digging trenches according to project specifications while maintaining safety protocols
Requirements
Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of pipeline installation or related fields such as plumbing or oil & gas industries
Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, forklift, and front loader truck
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
Skilled in using pipe lasers and other precision measurement tools for alignment tasks
Familiarity with utility locating techniques and safety procedures on construction sites
Experience with concrete finishing, forming, welding, or plumbing is a plus but not mandatory
Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in physically demanding environments

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
