Associate Attorney

The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients. ResponsibilitiesLitigation, defending management and corporate clients in state and federal courts in all types of employment-related matters, including wrongful termination, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, and whistleblowerInvestigations of harassment and discriminatory claimsEmployment policy manuals and onboarding materialsDrafting offer letters, contracts, and severance agreementsDefending wrongful termination claimsDefending wage and hour claims and legal complianceDrafting arbitration agreements and trying cases in arbitrationDefending PAGA defense and class actionsDefending DFEH, EDD, and other administrative claimsQualificationsPossess a Juris Doctorate Degree Strong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong legal knowledge, work with WestlawActive and good standing with CA Bar Association 1-3 years in Civil Litigation as an Attorney, ideally within employment law
