This role provides the opportunity to care for a complex oncology population across both inpatient and outpatient settings while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The NP will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the continuum of cancer treatment, from diagnosis through active therapy, survivorship, and supportive care.Responsibilities IncludeProvide comprehensive evaluation and management of adult patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors in both inpatient and outpatient settingsConduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, treatment-related assessments, and symptom management visitsManage patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and other systemic treatments, including monitoring for and managing treatment-related toxicitiesCollaborate closely with attending physicians, nursing, pharmacy, infusion services, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care plansParticipate in inpatient rounding, admissions, discharges, and transitions of care as assignedProvide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, symptom management, and supportive care needsOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within scope of practice and collaborative agreementsDocument clinical care accurately and timely in the electronic medical recordSupport quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and institutional goalsHours: Monday – FridayShared night and weekend call: supports patients/ hospital calls from homePrimary Location:South - MOB I - 14546
