2026-2027 School Kitchen and Lunch Program Coordinator--Holy Family Kirkland

Do you want to only work school days and have holidays and summers off?Holy Family Parish School, a thriving K8 Catholic school on the Eastside, is seeking a School Kitchen & Lunch Program Coordinator to oversee and prepare daily hot lunches for students during the school year. Typical hours are 10:00 a.m.2:00 p.m. on school days for a total of 20 hours per week. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, organization, working with children and volunteers, and creating a welcoming lunchtime experience for students.Responsibilities IncludePlanning nutritious, student-friendly menus Ordering food and kitchen supplies within a budget Preparing, cooking, and serving daily lunches Organizing and supervising parent volunteers Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards Keeping food service and inventory records Qualified Candidates WillSupport the mission and values of a Catholic school environment Have experience preparing balanced, healthy meals Be organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene Be able to lift up to 40 pounds Obtain and maintain a current King County Food Worker Card Complete ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Bring a positive attitude and enjoyment of working with childrenStarting pay for this part-time position is from $23-$25/hour depending upon experience. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
