As we scale our U.S. operations, we're looking for hands-on Engineering Technicians who want to grow with a high-tech manufacturing team at the cutting edge of robotics and optics.ROLE OVERVIEWWe are hiring 5 Engineering Technicians to support our Hutto manufacturing operation. In this role, you will install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and optical systems. You'll work alongside engineers and production teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where precision and reliability matter.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Assemble, install, and commission automated machinery and optical equipment per engineering specifications• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, and automated systems• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals• Calibrate and validate equipment performance; document results and deviations• Support process engineers in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of quality and compliance• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teamsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an Engineering Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role• Background in mechanical, electromechanical, or electronics systems — formal training or equivalent experience• Demonstrated experience working with automated manufacturing equipment (PLCs, sensors, actuators, robotics)• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings• Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical, root-cause-oriented approach• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with physical demands (standing, lifting, operating tools)• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standardsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience with optical systems, precision instruments, or vision-based inspection equipment• Background in electronics manufacturing, hardware assembly, or high-volume production environments• Familiarity with optical alignment, lens systems, or photonics equipment• Associate's degree or technical certificate in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field• Experience with Lean, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies• Bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus
