We have an excellent track record of helping our clinical fellows build portfolios which rank very highly in national recruitment and have experience of progressing senior doctors through the CESR route to Consultant level.Main duties of the jobOur Junior Clinical Fellow programme includes posts with the exciting opportunity to have 20% of time dedicated to a specialist interest. The specialist interest posts include; pre-hospital emergency medicine, point of care ultrasound, paediatric emergency medicine and clinical research. See more information below.Whilst working in Emergency Medicine, you will join a team of 29 consultants, 3 specialty doctors, 18 middle grades, 28 other resident doctors, 9 ACPs and over 100 nurses working in the Emergency Department. This post involves a full shift system, involving nights and weekend work. Your primary responsibility will include delivering care to the full spectrum of patients that attend the emergency department. You will have to opportunity to be part of the “trauma team”. You will use and develop your emergency care skills to resuscitate the most critically unwell patients.
