Superintendent
CORE Construction is seeking a Superintendent to provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction on large scale commercial projects in Fort Lauderdale. The candidate will be responsible for all onsite activities of a construction project ranging from start-up to punch-out, including:Coaching subcontractors on safe construction practicesQuality control, ensuring all subcontractor deficiencies are correctedMaintaining the project schedule and establishing the critical path for subs and vendorsFacilitating and encouraging subcontractor coordinationWorking with design team and owner to overcome challenges / unforeseen conditionsReviewing all drawings, specifications and submittalsDaily progress reports and weekly schedule updatesThe superintendent's role is to ensure whatever is required to facilitate the construction of the project on site from beginning to completion while utilizing CORE's best practices in safety, quality, schedule and cost while maintaining relationships with both our trade partners and our clients.
