Construction Project Manager

*Role*: Project Manager (1292490) *Location*: 5938 Julian Airport Rd., Liberty, NC 27298 *Duration*: 12 Months *Description:* *Detailed Description of Responsibilities:* * Support the upcoming Production Engineering Project for the battery plant. * Support planning for installation of machines and processes related to the new production lines. * Support construction management of contractors tasked with equipment installation. * Confirm installation quality of machines and processes related to the new / modified production lines. * Support PE with the planning and assessment of feasible options for construction related activity. * Liaison for to construction contractor to validate for project management. *Requirements:* *Required Qualifications:* * Experience in construction environment, with previous history in project management / supervision of large-scale schedule driven activity. * Understanding Mechanical, Electrical and Fluid specifications for procuring equipment for install. * Strong Mechanical experience for the ability to set, level and adjust large complex machinery. * Schedule of manpower and understanding of overall schedule for large job completions. * Understanding and strong utilization of MS Excel, Word, and PPT. * Ability to use AutoCAD for drawing review, bid pack creation. * Ability for business travel to other facilities for on-the-job training until the North Carolina plant is a functional site. *Bonus:* * Previous skilled trades experience a plus. (Ironworker / Millwright / Pipe Fitter) * Experience with machine uncrate, installation, setting, leveling.
