What you'll do
Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience at every interaction
Manage incoming calls, answer questions, and direct patients appropriately
Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
Prepare for patient visits by verifying insurance, confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, and sharing any necessary pre-visit instructions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EMR system
Support the care team by ensuring patient needs are clearly communicated prior to visits
Assist with front office organization and day-to-day tasks to keep the practice running smoothly
What you'll bring
Strong customer service and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
One to three years of experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred
Experience with EMR systems strongly preferred (Athena experience is a plus)
Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment
