Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreman to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. As a Foreman, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, utilizing heavy equipment and performing essential tasks that contribute to the successful completion of our projects. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing a crew during underground utility installation projects and a strong understanding of construction site procedures. Ideal candidates will be dependable, punctual, and can be relied upon to work independently or with minimal supervision while still meeting deadlines and expectations.DutiesOversee and coordinate the activities of field employeesFollow project plans and schedules to ensure that crews meet production goalsTranslate general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for the crewCheck equipment to ensure proper working conditionsMaterial procurement and schedulingMaintain employee time reportingPrepare reports as requiredCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations on the construction site.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.QualificationsExperience with managing crews during installation of water, gravity sewer, sewer force main, and storm drain.Ability to proficiently read plans, survey layouts, centerline, and grade is a must.Ability to use and understand tools such as sight level, pipe laser, and transit is a must.Familiarity with various pipe materials (PVC, ductile iron, concrete, HDPE) and appropriate installation techniques.Familiarity with construction site practices and procedures is essential.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.Join us as we build the future together!
