We value individuals who ask questions, challenge the status quo, and want to grow while making a real difference.About the RoleThe AI Architect will lead the design and implementation of Agentic AI platforms that automate complex workflows in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM). This role focuses on building scalable AI architectures that combine large language models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, and multi-agent orchestration to support high-volume operational workflows.The AI Architect will design and implement systems capable of supporting hundreds of thousands of AI-driven decisions per month, including automated appeals processing, prior authorization support, and medical policy interpretation. The role requires deep expertise in LLM-based systems, distributed AI architectures, and enterprise cloud platforms.The ideal candidate has experience building production-scale AI systems, with strong knowledge of LLM orchestration, knowledge graphs, and cloud-based AI infrastructure.This position will be located at our offices in San Diego, CA.How you will make an impact:In this role, you'll:Agentic AI ArchitectureDesign and implement Agentic AI architectures where multiple AI agents collaborate to perform complex tasks such as document analysis, policy interpretation, and decision support.Define frameworks for AI agent planning, reasoning, validation, and workflow orchestration.Architect scalable solutions capable of processing hundreds of thousands of AI-driven workflow cases per month.Healthcare & RCM Automation* Develop AI solutions to support healthcare revenue cycle processes such as:* Integrate AI systems with enterprise healthcare platforms while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.Knowledge Graph & Retrieval ArchitectureDesign architectures with GraphRAG-based reasoning workflows.Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines combining structured knowledge, payer policies, and clinical documentation.Develop semantic search and knowledge linking strategies to improve AI accuracy, traceability, and explainability.Enterprise AI Infrastructure* Architect enterprise AI systems built on AWS cloud infrastructure, including services such as:* Design distributed systems supporting high throughput, reliability, and observability.AI Platform & GovernanceDefine standards for AI service deployment, monitoring, and operational management.Implement guardrails for AI safety, validation, and hallucination mitigation.Ensure AI systems meet enterprise requirements for security, auditability, and responsible AI usage.Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner with product leaders, engineering teams, and data scientists to translate business needs into scalable AI systems.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams implementing AI capabilities.Contribute to the overall enterprise AI platform strategy and roadmapWhat you will bring to the team:We're looking for someone with a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
