This position will primarily focus on managing and maintaining the parts inventory that supports our MWD product line and rental tool operations.The role is responsible for accurate inventory tracking, order fulfillment, stock organization, and communication with procurement regarding inventory levels and replenishment needs.In addition to inventory responsibilities, the employee will be trained to assist the shop team with maintenance, repair, and preparation of Rime's rental and new tool offerings, providing operational support when needed.Inventory Management (Primary Responsibility)Maintain accurate counts and tracking of all inventory within the Conroe facility.Monitor parts usage and maintain inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels.Pick, package, and ship parts orders for both internal teams and external clients.Receive incoming shipments from vendors and properly stock inventory.Conduct random quality control checks on incoming inventory to ensure accuracy and quality.Maintain organization and cleanliness of the inventory storage area.Work closely with the Procurement Manager to communicate:Inventory utilizationMinimum and maximum stock levelsReorder requirementsPotential shortages or supply issuesAssist in cycle counts and inventory audits as required.Mechanical / Shop Support (Secondary Responsibility)Train to assist with repair, maintenance, and preparation of Rime rental tools and new tool offerings.Support shop technicians in assembly, inspection, and testing of equipment when needed.Maintain shop cleanliness and organization standards.Assist with tool staging and preparation for field deployment.QualificationsPreferred Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical, mechanical, or industrial experience preferredPrevious inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience strongly preferredExperience working with oilfield tools, MWD equipment, or mechanical systems is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to maintain accurate inventory recordsBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn shop operationsStrong communication skills for coordination with procurement and operations teamsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shop and warehouse environmentComfortable working in a shop and warehouse settingAdditional ExpectationsMaintain a safe and organized working environmentFollow company policies and safety proceduresSupport operational priorities as directed by the MWD Product Line Manager
