Senior Medical Editor

We are looking for a Senior Medical Editor to join our team. You will take a leadership role in ensuring the highest level of editorial quality and regulatory compliance. You will report to the Manager, Editorial.This role is open to remote candidates in the United States or Canada, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone.ResponsibilitiesReview and edit promotional content/materials for grammar, punctuation, spelling, sense, AMA style, and consistency for branded/unbranded, HCP/patient, and digital/print materialsFact check/Cross-check and proofread existing content for consistency and/or adaptation to new channels and audiencesEnsure changes are correctly incorporated between subsequent versionsof materialsRetain medical, legal, and regulatory guidance to ensure consistency and accuracy with FDA guidelines, internal style guidelines, client feedback, and brand standardsSupport the preparation of materials for MLR submissionPartner with full-time and freelance project managers, account managers,designers, copywriters, and other editors to foster a collaborativeenvironmentManage own brand assignment and assist other editors, as neededAttend project kickoff meetings, hot sheet/status meetings, and teamregroups for assigned brand(s)Multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-pacedenvironmentRequirementsBachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or lifesciences, as well as 5+ years of experience editing pharmaceuticalpromotional materials in an agency environmentExperience working across a range of therapeutic areas and productlaunches is a plusFamiliarity and basic proficiency with editorial software and/or AI toolsExperience anchoring/linking in Veeva is a plusInterested in working with us?
