MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows System Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce that supports a wide range of national defense missions. This role directly supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization—the foundation of all Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) for MPO.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToCreating standard Windows load for usersPatching Windows server using the WSUS serverCreating, modifying and deleting Windows accountsComplete NESSUS scans and mitigate the vulnerabilitiesPXE Windows workstations using Deployment Services and join workstations to DomainImplementing GPOs for Active Directory, update and fix Active Directory issuesManaging Virtual Machines on serval VCenter servers to include adding memory, CPUs, network and disksInstalling ESXi hosts on Dell serversCreating new shares from NetApp flier for usersRestoring data using NetApp snapshotsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or 5 years of additional related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 14+ years of experience as a System Administrator or related experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Must be proficient with troubleshooting in a Windows environment (e.g. motherboards, external cards, memory and riser cards). Experience with VMWare IAT I certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment. Acceptable certifications include A+ CE/CCNA-Security/CND/Network+ CE /CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/SSCP) Preferred QualificationsExperience/familiarization with full lifecycle management of Windows systems, to include provisioning, configuration management and patching. Experience with NetAPP Clearance RequirementsMust have a current/active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Physical RequirementsThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders/teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication.
