DescriptionPosition Summary:The Director of Global Capacity is responsible for developing and executing global capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal utilization of resources, alignment with demand forecasts, and scalability across regions. This role oversees long-term and short-term capacity planning, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives operational efficiency to support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead global capacity planning across multiple regions, sites, and business unitsDevelop and implement capacity models aligned with demand forecasts and strategic goalsPartner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to balance supply and demandAnalyze production, workforce, and infrastructure constraints; recommend solutionsDrive scenario planning and risk mitigation strategies for capacity shortages or surplusesContribute to capital planning related to expansion, equipment, and facility investmentsEstablish KPIs and dashboards to monitor capacity utilization and performanceLead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and efficiencySupport new product introductions and global expansion initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years of experience in capacity planning, operations, or supply chain managementExperience in global or multi-site operationsStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skillsProven leadership and team management experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrategic thinking and long-range planningAdvanced data analysis and modelingCross-functional leadershipProblem-solving and decision-making under uncertaintyFinancial acumen (CAPEX/OPEX planning)Change management and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
