You will be responsible for defining objectives, priorities, and deadlines based on client expectations. You will work with crews, crew leaders, and other personnel to solve problems and provide excellent service. You'll be responsible for managing personnel, equipment, budgets, and client relationships, driving the team towards excellence, and maintaining profitability.ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and manage irrigation projects to ensure exceptional outcomes and profitabilityFoster clear and effective communication among team members and clients to deliver superior serviceUphold budget objectives, ensuring timely billing and successful proposal completionsRecruit, train, and mentor team members, overseeing their performance and ensuring adherence to safety protocolsMonitor accounts receivables consistently to maintain a healthy financial statusCultivate strong relationships with clients, anticipating and addressing their needs proactivelyMaintain accurate administrative records, fostering smooth communication across all teamsDevelop and implement effective irrigation strategies to optimize water usage and promote sustainable practicesOversee regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure their efficient operation and identify potential issues or malfunctionsCollaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality irrigation equipment and materials, negotiating favorable terms and maintaining strong vendor relationshipsStay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in irrigation systems, recommending innovative solutions for improved efficiency and cost-effectivenessMonitor and evaluate project progress, addressing any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective measures as neededCollaborate with the leadership team to develop comprehensive irrigation project proposals, providing accurate cost estimations and timelinesFoster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all team members adhere to established safety protocols and regulations at all times.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEPrevious experience in irrigation management or a related field is required.While a degree is impressive, we recognize that what's on paper doesn't define you.
